April Update

Last week, Munsur, Chelsea and Roger carried out a walkabout of the estate, taking photos and reporting issues to Guinness Partnership.

This is part of our ongoing work to identify problems, follow them up, and improve the estate.

How we are working now
• We take photos of problems
• We record when they are reported
• We follow them up with Guinness
• We ask for reference numbers

This helps make sure issues are not ignored.

'Design Out Crime' - Estate Security
This week, we met with a City of London Police Design Out Crime Officer and representatives from Guinness Partnership to carry out a security survey of the estate.

We discussed anti-social behaviour by non-residents and misuse of the car park by non-residents, including possible measures such as gating the estate.

A report will now be produced with recommendations to improve security. We will share updates when we receive them.

Next steps
We will continue to press Guinness for action and track progress on reported issues.

Get involved
We are continuing to rebuild the Residents’ Association and making steady progress.

New volunteers are already helping — more support is always welcome.

* Issues around perimeter security and recent damage
* How well the CCTV is currently working
* How illegal parking is handled, including whether parking tickets issued by the monitoring company are actually enforceable
